La Paz Fishing TripReel Fun 44, La Paz, June 2011

Friday June 10 to Thursday June 16

$975.pp double occupancy including tax

La Paz, the Capital of Baja California Sur is a charming city 60 miles north of Cabo San Lucas. Located on the Sea of Cortez, the "City of Peace " is far away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo. La Paz has a rich 400 year old history and is popular with tourists from all over the World, especially Mainland Mexico.

The restaurants, shopping and nightlife are great, but the real treat is the Bay of La Paz and the Sea of Cortez. The offshore Islands of Espirito Santo and Cerralvo are pristine. Surrounded by clear warm water and teaming with sea life you'll see jumping Manta Rays, Dolphins, Whales, Flying fish and more. Of course the main reason for our trip to La Paz are the Dorado, Pargo, Rooster Fish, Marlin and other species we can catch at this time of the year.

Alaksa Salmon Fishing TripReel Fun Clover Pass, July 2011

Tuesday July 12 to Sunday July 17

$1745. pp. double occupancy

Clover Pass, just North of Ketchikan, is on one of the best Salmon runs in the world. These calm waters are the "highway" for the Salmon returning to span. Ketchikan is known as the "Salmon Capital of Alaska"

Put a line in the water as you leave the dock. King, Pink, Silver and Chum Salmon are plentiful at the Resort when we are there in July. Migrating schools of Pacific Salmon funnel into the protected waterways of the inside passage around Ketchikan.

This is an "all inclusive" trip. Included is transportation from the Ketchikan airport, all meals, tackle, bait and boats. Catch is processed, frozen and boxed. Food is great and the portions plentiful. Our annual Salmon Derby and prizes are awarded at a Banquet the night before we leave.

Fish as much or little as you like because you are the Captain of your self guided Livingston skiff. Your schedule is whatever you want it to be. Get up early, pack a lunch and spend 12 hours on the water, or go out for a few hours come in for lunch and head into town. The fishing is good all day and the weather is very co-operative this time of year. Besides the four species of Salmon, try your luck on Rock Fish, Halibut and Ling Cod.

While on the water dotted with islands you can see Orcas, Whales and beautiful scenery. Bald Eagles are as plentiful as Seagulls. Be prepared for the magnificent 3-hour sunsets. Spend some time visiting the historic charming town of Ketchikan. Visit the historical Totem Pole Museum, their many shops and experience their distinctive native culture.

Barn-door Halibut charters require advance booking. 20' covered aluminum boats with 90 horse Yamaha outboards, available at $175. per day plus tax & fuel, if ordered early. Or $200. as available.

Fishing license and room tax is less than $100.
